Love will sneak up on you, and then you will be confused. Lol
Luv is fickle, but, can absolutely be lifetime lasting, even several lifetimes ... luv, not lust, which is fleeting and so not worth a few orgasms ...
Technology has amped up people connecting that would have never been able to otherwise. It's also led to more unfaithfulness - both men and women. So many couples stay together for kids, financial reasons ... living a lie is isn't living ... it's a bandaid ... and, eventually, the bandaid peels off. When you lose everything, look in the mirror as to why.
Some people do get off on cheating, which is fine ... however, two words they should never use to describe themselves are LOYAL and HONEST ... cause that makes them a stone cold LIAR ...
No such thing as lo__!!! 🐺😇
Sad but true
I think views of love and marriage are the consequences paid for the way men have been treated, at least in America, over the last part of the 20th century. Judges thought it funny to abuse men in divorce cases rendering unfair judgments. While that has changed, many men rather just live with someone, or even play around and not risk their homes and property by allowing themselves to be tied up in marriage.
@naughtymc1986 I think the fabric of society has been forever changed.
I truly think that this is now the 'norm' for both men and women. Society has taken a 'Throw Away' attitude of use it and toss it away when you're done towards everything, including intimacy and relationships. Convenience has been prioritized over long term comfort and commitment.
The publication of this post tends to prove that at least one person would answer "no".
Easy to be hurt if love
Lili_th,
I think its not at all, simple yes or no. Technology has stepped into everything surrounding our lives and "gotten in the way."
We had time to kill before sleep, not for effort but we just couldn't go to sleep. I flipped through Netflix, I think, and found a movie based upon the book, "The Secret ". After watching the movie I'm reading the book and now I am realizing fundamental love has been overcome by no longer paying attention to our natural instincts. Just my humble opinion but tomorrow is Sunday and I am going to go back to Church.
Brilliant topic, thanks for sharing. We need more such thought.
